🍎🥫 VIKINGS, LET’S FILL THOSE SHELVES! 💚🖤
📅 Food Drive: October 19–30
North Stokes High School, it’s time to come together and make a difference in our community! 💚
The Northern Stokes Food Pantry (NSFP) is experiencing a significant shortage of food supplies due to rising costs. As a result, the pantry has had to temporarily reduce both its distribution hours and the amount of food it can provide to families in need.
Now, our Viking family has an opportunity to step up and help our neighbors! 🫶
🥫 THE CHALLENGE IS ON! 🥫
Each grade level will compete to collect the most food donations. The grade that collects the MOST FOOD will win a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕🏆
But the real victory? Helping local families put food on their tables. ❤️
✅ Bring in nonperishable food donations!
✅ Encourage your classmates to participate!
✅ Show everyone what it means to be a VIKING!
Every can, every box, and every donation counts. Let’s show the Northern Stokes community what happens when Vikings unite for a good cause!
📣 Which grade level will take home the pizza party AND the bragging rights? Let the competition begin!

👶🍼 The Computer Babies Came Home for the Weekend! 🍼👶
Child Development students got a very real taste of what it takes to care for a baby—and let’s just say these babies don’t believe in sleeping through the night! 😂
From car seats and strollers to feeding, diapering, dressing, and keeping those little ones safe, our students put their classroom learning into practice. They learned that caring for a baby takes responsibility, patience, planning, and A LOT of attention!
📚 Before: Learning about infant care in the classroom.
🏠 After: Bringing their “babies” home and putting those skills to the test!
These hands-on experiences help our students understand the real-life responsibilities of parenting and child care while developing valuable life skills.
And judging by these pictures…some of our Vikings are already pros! 💚🖤
Great job, Child Development students! We hope the babies behaved themselves over the weekend! 😉👶

From “How to Say No to Alcohol” to “Scary Facts About Vaping,” these resources sparked conversations about making informed decisions and taking care of yourself.
And of course, our Vikings know how to make learning a little more fun! 😎🥽
