The Fellowship of Christian Students gathered in the media center this morning for a special Christmas devotional. Neal Marshall shared an uplifting message from Isaiah 9:2, 6, a passage that beautifully points to the birth of Jesus and the hope He brings to the world.
Students reflected on the prophecy that “the people walking in darkness have seen a great light” and the promise of a child who would be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. As we move deeper into the Christmas season, it was a meaningful reminder of the true reason we celebrate—Christ’s light, peace, and everlasting joy.
We are grateful for this time of fellowship, and for everyone who joined us to start the day centered on faith and the message of Christmas. 🌟🎄✨

Our Foods 1 students rolled up their sleeves and created delicious homemade chocolate pies today! From measuring and mixing to taste-testing their final creations, students showed incredible teamwork, creativity, and culinary skill.
This activity wasn’t just tasty—it was educational. Students practiced real-world skills like following multi-step recipes, using kitchen equipment safely, understanding food science, and working together to problem-solve in the kitchen.
The best part? The smiles and enjoyment shared around the kitchen as they worked together and tasted their hard-earned treats!

The Fellowship of Christian Students gathered this morning for an inspiring time of worship and reflection. Neal Marshall joined the group and shared a heartfelt message focused on giving thanks to God, drawing from the powerful words of Psalm 100.
Neal reminded students that Psalm 100 is a call to joyful praise—a reminder to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord,” to serve with gladness, and to enter God’s presence with thanksgiving. He encouraged students to recognize God’s goodness in their daily lives and to remember that “His love endures forever and His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
The message was a meaningful reminder to approach each day with gratitude, especially as we move into the holiday season. We are proud of our FCS students for continuing to grow in faith, fellowship, and encouragement each week. 🙌💚💙

North Stokes Leads with Generosity: 1,500+ Items Donated!
North Stokes High School extends its sincere appreciation to the students, parents, and community members who generously donated non-perishable items during our recent canned food drive. Thanks to your support, we collected over 1,500 food items to be delivered to the North Stokes Food Pantry, helping families in our community during the holiday season.
The National Honor Society led this two-week initiative, organizing and promoting the effort across campus. Participation was strong, with 10th grade earning 1st place by donating an impressive 713 items, followed by 11th grade with 673 items.

Today, our Child Development students had an incredibly rewarding experience at the King YMCA!
They spent the day swimming and making new friends with other children from the community. Seeing the students engage with such care, patience, and enthusiasm was heartwarming. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of connection and how simple activities can bring so much joy.

Thursday was an incredible day for our students! North Stokes hosted a Career Fair with over 60 amazing vendors, and students from every high school in the county were invited to attend.
From hands-on demonstrations to one-on-one conversations, vendors shared valuable information about careers students may want to pursue in the future. It was an inspiring day filled with exploration, learning, and opportunities!
